LAB TESTING 

 

All GATAKA chocolates undergo third party lab testing to ensure that what you are consuming is exactly what we say it is - high quality CBD. We publish our lab results because we value transparency. You can find the lab results here on our webpage or scan the QR code on our packaging as well. 

 

So what exactly are we testing for? We do potency tests for the CBD oil and the level of THC in our product. Remember from our CBD 101 page that we need to have less than 0.3% of THC in our CBD in order to be in compliance with the FDA.  

 

There are over 140 types of cannabinoids in the hemp plant, but what we are really looking for in the test results is the THC Delta 9 (which is the psychoactive component), and we want to know exactly how much CBD we put in our products.

 

Each time we get a new batch of CBD oil or create a new product we run a certificate of analysis (COA) from a third party lab called Botanacor, and we publish the lab report for each of our products:
